Whether you’re focusing on fat reduction, weight loss, body toning, increasing muscle size, gaining strength, or improving your activities of daily living, we want you to challenge yourself, sweat, and succeed.

Making the decision to exercise is the first step to becoming a healthier person. The next step is to set realistic, attainable goals. One of the primary reasons people fail in their endeavor to become healthier is that they set unattainable standards for themselves from the beginning. People want to start an exercise program for different reasons.

By maintaining a proper fitness program, a person can significantly increase their quality of life well into old age. When it comes to an exercise program, there are a few things to remember: workout changes are a good thing, as you need variation so you don’t get bored or stagnant doing the same thing. The key is to find something you like doing and stick to it – if you like it, you will keep exercising!

Body management includes behavioral changes in both diet and exercise. People who want to lose fat will find that, in the long run, adhering to an exercise program is easier than following a severe calorie restricted diet. For people who want to maintain their weight, a continuous exercise program allows them to enjoy food without the constant worry of calorie intake. We want our Scottsdale fitness center to make you feel comfortable, accomplished, and ultimately, happy.

3D Body Shape and Measurement Visualization

Fitness professionals have long explained that the public’s focus on weight loss, as opposed to fat loss, is counterproductive. As you lose fat, you literally shrink, but it’s hard to be objective when the scale is still reading the same number as last month. The primary reason for failure is that weighing on a scale is a misguided way to gauge overall health. By focusing on the scale, people lose the bigger picture of transforming their body.

Using 3D body scanning, we can determine how much body fat a person needs to lose to meet their health and fitness goals. 3D body scanning creates a calorie intake model based on the member’s goals and daily calorie expenditure in relation to their exercise program. The point of 3D body scanning is to help you track your fitness progress over time. You can gain weight or stay the same weight but still become healthier because muscle weighs more than fat, and you’ve trimmed inches off your body.

3D body scanning lets you track your progress in terms of body composition and fat percentage. Additionally, a 3D body scan will also help determine potential health risks and track baseline circumferences of waist, hips, thighs, and bust. To get a thorough understanding of your body and how it relates to your fitness goals, a full body 3D scanner is incredibly useful. Pushing yourself to become or stay physically fit is one of the most rewarding things you will accomplish in your lifetime. Staying healthy into old age will increase your quality of living as you enjoy your day-to-day activities. As founder and owner of CSS Fitness, I have personally never been on a “diet” a day in my life, although I have been overweight in the past.

My journey from unhealthy to healthy did not happen overnight, but the changes I made have now become a healthy, active, and rewarding lifestyle. I never reduced my calorie intake but I made some drastic changes to my eating patterns, including cutting out sugar, processed foods, and sugary drinks. These foods were replaced with healthy protein, carbohydrate, and fats. Over time, the healthy diet paid off – that, and of course, a love for exercise. As my training progressed, so did the number of calories that I was consuming, to a point that I was consuming more calories than when I was on an unhealthy diet.

At CSS Fitness, we give you the tools to get healthy, but most importantly, to stay healthy and set habits that become an enjoyable and gratifying lifestyle well into old age. Take your first steps to better health at our fitness center by contacting us today!
